Insurance Policy
Dental insurance differs from medical insurance, and understanding your benefits can help you make the most of your coverage. We encourage patients to review their insurance benefit booklet to understand their coverage details and payment portions for various procedures. At El Paso Family Dental, we’ll provide an estimated portion of the cost covered by your insurance before treatment based on the information we receive from your provider. However, please remember that this estimate is not a guarantee of benefits or final payment amounts.
We handle all insurance claims as a courtesy to you, filing claims on your behalf to make the process smoother. However, responsibility for the final financial balance remains with the patient. If your insurance pays less or more than the initial estimate, we will either issue a bill for the difference or apply a credit to your account if there’s an overpayment. We welcome patients without insurance and offer an in-house membership plan to make dental care more affordable. Our dental membership plan provides premium preventive care, discounts on various treatments, and exclusive benefits tailored to meet your dental needs. Cancellations and Appointment Policy
We value your time and kindly request that you extend the same courtesy. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Arriving more than 20 minutes late may also incur a small fee, as we strive to keep our schedule on time for all patients.
